The Meadville Family YMCA offers Membership categories and a variety of programs to meet the needs of individuals, families and children.

  • Availability to use both our membership facilities: Downtown and Vernon Place.


Joining Fee:
There is a one-time joining fee for all members as long as there membership remains active. The funds are used for building repair and maintenance. The joining fee is $30 for all memberships, adult, student, and family.

The Meadville Family YMCA Membership and Cancellation Policy.

Cancellation of YMCA Membership by a YMCA Member- A member may cancel his/her membership at any time with at least a 30-day written notice. Written notice can be mailed through the post office, emailing, or hand-delivering a cancellation letter to the YMCA. Please remember partial months are not permitted. If a member cancels on or after the 6th or 16th of any month, then payment will still be due the following month on the 5th or 15th, and the member can continue to enjoy their membership until the end date. 
There are no refunds for membership fees, and YMCA will not pro-rate a canceled membership. For those that paid three or more months in advance, there are no refunds. However, suppose moving out of the area, and there are no participating YMCA’s for the nationwide membership program within 7 miles of your new address. In that case, 1/2 of the remaining membership dues will be refunded. 

Card Replacement Policy

Replacement membership cards are $5 per card.
