Downtown Custodian
Qualification:
- Six months or more of related experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret instruction, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
- Ability to report and record maintenance request.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
- Basic understanding of the upkeep ad care of equipment.
- Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.

Internship
The Meadville YMCA is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Intern in Youth & Family Services. This internship will provide hands-on experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation for the benefit of children, families, and the community. Child Watch Aid
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Nurtures children through purposeful programming dedicated to building achievement and belonging
in youth and relationships among youth and within families.
2. Supervises the children and all activities including ADA accommodations where appropriate. Follows all
procedures and standards.
3. Cultivates positive relationships, and maintains effective communication with parents. Engages
parents as volunteers and connects them to the YMCA.
4. Maintains program site and equipment.
5. Maintains required program records.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay: $9 – $12.58

Child Watch Coordinator
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Under the direction and supervision of the Program Director the Child Watch Supervisor will be
responsible for directing and administrating all aspects of the program. Will work toward providing a
program that fosters the children’s social, physical, spiritual and mental growth all in a safe environment
that promotes fun activities.
2. Ensure the safety of children in the Child Watch Program and the ability to deal with discipline and
accident incidents.
3. Provide program direction and oversight of all the child watch programs: morning, evening and
weekends, including facility set-up and design, including the safety of toys and equipment in the Child
Watch area.
4. Assist Child Watch Aide/Leaders in the development and implementation of weekly program plans for the
various aged groups in Child Watch.
5. Hire, train, and supervise child watch staff; lead regularly scheduled staff meetings.
6. Schedule staff to work in Child Watch to promote the most optimal care of children within the budget
guidelines.
7. Address parent concerns and suggestions, with follow up and assistance from Program Director.
8. Assist in Child Watch Program during busy times and to model desired interactions.
9. Instill customer service values; friendliness and cleanliness to child watch aides/leaders.
10. Responsible for the bi-weekly payroll of the Child Watch Staff.
11. Participate in the semi-annual, annual performance review of Child Watch staff.
12. Report any risk management issues to the Program Director.

Assistant Gymnastics Coach
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist the head coach with instructing students in the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport.
- Organize and direct individual and small group practice activities/exercises as directed by the head coach.
- Assesses gymnast’s skills, monitors participants during competition and practice, and keeps the head coach informed of the athletic performance of students.
- Assists with strategy to conduct successful gymnastics meet.
- Know and review all emergency procedures and respond to emergency situations immediately in accordance with YMCA policies, procedures, and the “safe-in-six” model; complete related reports as required.
- Model sports-like behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards students, officials, and spectators.
- Assist the head coach with submitting a list of award winners at the end of the season for the annual awards banquet. Also, must assist the head coach at parent orientation and registration.
- Perform support tasks such as distributing and maintaining eligibility forms, emergency data cards, and other related records.
- Attending staff development meetings, clinics, and other professional activities to improve coaching performance.
- Perform similar and related duties as assigned.
Pay: $10 – $13.94

Part Time Custodian
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for cleaning the building.
2. Records and reports all needed repairs; repairs as directed.
3. Ensures YMCA building and property is secure during shift and report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
4. Replaces soap, paper towels, and other supplies.
Pay: $9 – $12.58
Hours: 5:00pm-8:00pm Monday-Friday
