2023 Capital Campaign

Meadville Family YMCA

In 2022 the YMCA completed several capital projects (that are listed below).  These projects will allow our staff to continue serving our community for years to come. Our improvements of the Downtown YMCA Facility were funded with YMCA Endowment, Grants, ARPA and CARES funding. 

  • New Roof: $100,000 
  • New Electrical Panels: $16,000
  • Windows Second Floor: $6,300
  • New Flooring Second Floor: $8,500
  • New Split Systems: $53,000
  • New staff bathroom upstairs/removed child bathroom in lower level: $34,900
  • New Sign in Front of the building: $1,500
  • Pointing and painting the building: $25,000
  • Windows and blinds first floor:  $99,550
  • HVAC Cardio and Nautilus: $12,000

We are now asking for the community’s continued support as we finalize several large projects in 2023.  The Meadville Family YMCA is excited to announce a capital campaign to raise funds to complete several projects to help our association to better meet the needs of our community.

Renovations

The Meadville YMCA is undergoing exciting new renovations as part of its capital campaign to enhance its facilities and better serve the community. The renovation project aims to provide an updated and modernized space that encourages healthy living, fosters community engagement, and supports the YMCA’s mission to develop the mind, body, and spirit of individuals.

The new renovations include:

Pool Area Conversion: $290,000
The Meadville Family YMCA pool, (although we are sad to see it go) will become a focal point in our updated facility. The pool area will become the new multipurpose space. This space will receive new windows, new lights, heating a cooling system, a state of the art floor, and new paint. This new space will be used for fitness classes, family events, summer day camp, and so much more.

Men’s Steam Room: $25,000
Our men’s steam room has been a challenge for such a long time. We are finally ready to update and upgrade the steam room to a brand new sauna. 

Men’s Shower Area: $110,000
We are excited to announce our upcoming renovation project. The men’s locker room is also ready for a face-lift with new shower stalls, walls, paint, and flooring.

Gym Floor: $75,000
We will be replacing our gym floor to go along with our new windows creating a fresh new gym space.
