Strength In Numbers: 2023
The Y is bringing back their weightlifting competition: Strength In Numbers. At the Downtown YMCA, members can test their strength with others in the community of their age and size.
It is a non-sanctioned meet where members and the Meadville community can compete in the bench press, deadlift or both! On each lift, there are three attempts to achieve the highest weight for one repetition for rewards in their class and overall.
All proceeds from the event will be used to make equipment renovations and replacements to the Downtown weight room based on member recommendations!
All competitors will compete in their age and weight divisions.
