MOMMY AND ME FOR BABIES

Babies love mommy and me music time and it’s one of the best things for
your baby’s developing mind. Your baby’s brain is filled with billions of
neurons waiting to be connected through sensory stimulation. Mommy
(daddy, grandma, grandpa, auntie or caretaker) and me baby music
classes offer a sensory-rich environment to create and strengthen neural
pathways, enhance your bond with your child, and have loads of fun doing
it.
Babies enjoy exploring, reacting to new sounds, sensations, and
environments. We will use developmentally appropriate instruments like:
shakers, rattles, drums, and tambourines in activities designed to develop
both hemispheres of the brain. There’s plenty of side-by-side play with
other babies in a class, and you’ll get to cuddle, hum, and dance together,
all key inputs into your baby’s ability to develop early bonding and social
skills.
Along with learning songs and exploring instruments, older infants will start
to develop both gross and fine motor skills through fingerplays, movement,
and discovering how their bodies work.
No matter if your baby is 12 weeks, 12 months, or anywhere in between,
there’s something for them to learn and ways to grow in Mommy and me
baby music classes.

OUR PROGRAM OFFERS AND INCLUDES:

● Guided play and exploration with age-appropriate rhythm toys.
● Learning easy exercises to do with your baby, to encourage the
development of his or her gross and fine motor skills.
● Activities that improve eye movement, eye focus and eye-hand
coordination.

● Encouraging your baby to discover the fun and joy of movement through
music, rhymes and songs.
● Encouraging your baby to explore textures through play and “feeling”
experiences which educate the sense of touch, helping small hands
become more nimble.
● Stimulating your baby’s senses, especially the two hidden senses i.e.
proprioception and the vestibular sense.
● Valuable socializing with other moms/caretakers and their babies.
