1. Manages, directs and coordinates the early learning programs for assigned location(s). Ensures
high quality programs and establishes new program activities. Expands program within the

4. Provide support, cooperation and leadership to ensure compliance with government grants and
private foundation grants.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
- Instruct members during wellness program
- Ensure safety of members at all times
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment for all members
- Ensure that you are teaching and providing options to all members of the class
- Inspect and help maintain the quality of the equipment. Report any equipment issues to the wellness coordinator and branch director.
- Model behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards members
- Perform similar and related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of the class content and maintains fitness level to teach, willingness to continually
learning new content - Strong verbal communication skills.
- Content Certification before hire date & required to track and responsibly for recertification.
- Obtain Child Abuse and other Clearances as defined in the personnel policy.
- Some experience teaching wellness classes is preferred.

Personal Trainer
1. Supports members, participants, or project teams in achieving their goals. Serves as resource for staff in all matters relating to their training expertise.
2. Develops appropriate tools necessary to offer quality training; provides feedback to participants and proper instruction in use of support materials.
3. Provides a safe caring environment for all participants; enforces all general policies if applicable; completes any necessary reports and forms (e.g., attendance records, certifications).
4. Supports departmental initiatives and identifies ways to enhance training experience.
5. Ensure the safety of all participants.
6. Lead program with enthusiasm and motivate participants.
7. Builds effective relationships with members; helps members connect with each other and the YMCA.
