- Instruct members during wellness program
- Ensure safety of members at all times
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment for all members

Kitchen Assistant
To assist the Food Service Manager and Cook in preparing and serving nutritious meals and in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dishwashing area.
Assist in the daily operations of the camp food service.
- Assist in the preparation of food as the menu indicates including washing and peeling.
- Set up food, supplies, and utensils for dining hall distribution.
- Store food and leftovers at proper temperature.
- Assist in routine sanitation of the kitchen and related equipment.
- Clean and maintain all food-preparation and storage areas.
- Wash all dishes, serving and preparation equipment, and utensils according to regulated washing methods and temperatures.
- Reduce waste, reuse items, and recycle as indicated through the camp’s procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and packaging of food for use outside the camp dining hall.
- Work with cooks and other staff in reviewing pack out requests to ensure adequate and accurate amounts and variety.
- Prepare and store pack out food according to camp and health code procedures.
- Advise staff on equipment or preparation materials needed for identified menu choices.
- Must be 16 years of age
- Desire to work in the food service area.
- Knowledge of food preparation and serving, storage of food and dishwashing procedures is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS (required):
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Current certification to be an instructor in discipline desired to instruct. Credentialing as required by state law for course to be taught or administered. Proof of certification and/or credentials required.
- Previous experience providing instructions, training others or other related experience preferred.
- Basic computer/typing skills and demonstrated ability to utilize standard office software.
- Ability to use online, web-based technology for course related training documents and for regular communication.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekends.

Part Time Program Coordinator
Essential Functions:
1. Ensures programs and services meet community needs to include supervising existing program activities, establishing new program activities, and expanding the program within the community as needed. Assists in the marketing and distribution of program information.
2. Recruits and retains members and program participants across multiple dimensions of diversity for successful programming. Onboards and develops them for success.
3. Models relationship-building skills in all interactions. Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with community organizations. Maintains regular, clear, and concise communication within area of responsibility.
4. Manages the program, including developing and monitoring the program budget to meet fiscal objectives; compiling program statistics to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of and participation in program; securing and scheduling the needed facilities; and creating and scheduling the classes, activities or events.
5. Responsible of the day to day operation of program area, including the organization and scheduling of program registration and the compilation of participation statistics.
6. Responsible for promotion and incorporating YMCA core values and scheduling of program area.
7. Responsible for the purchasing of supplies and ordering of services related to program needs following YMCA guidelines.
8. Maintain a consistent, professional image through dress, actions and relationships with others. Speak enthusiastically on behalf of the YMCA at given opportunities.

Internship Program
Essential Functions:
Internship responsibilities may vary by department but can include:
- Program Development & Implementation: Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating community programs, fitness classes, and youth development initiatives.
- Member Engagement: Support membership services by providing excellent customer service, promoting YMCA programs, and assisting with outreach efforts.
- Administrative Support: Work on grant research, marketing materials, event planning, and program evaluation to improve YMCA offerings.

Qualifications
- Current college or university student pursuing a degree in [relevant fields: Exercise Science, Business, Nonprofit Management, Education, etc.].
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for community service and youth development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
