The objectives of Tae Kwon Do are to improve self confidence and self esteem; help to gain composure and self control; to improve concentration; to learn discipline and goal orientation; and to learn respect towards self and others. This modern martial arts program is open to all individuals ages 6 - adult. It is characterized by fast, high and spinning kicks. Master Williams teaches a traditional form of Tae Kwon Do. Which means he teaches his students to better themselves, to practice for self-defense and personal well being rather than for fighting.
Class run on a 5 week Summer Schedule and Meet:
Wednesdays at the Downtown YMCA: Beginner - 5:00pm-6:00pm Intermediate and Advanced - 6:00pm - 7:30pm
