All Water Fitness Classes are included in your YMCA membership! Water workouts expend more energy than similiar land based exercises due to the water resistance. The average person burns 450 - 700 calories during one hour of aerobic exercise.
Aqua Aerobics This low intensity water fitness class includes cardiovascular conditioning, muscular endurance and flexibility. Participants do not need to be able to swim. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9 - 10am
SilverSlpash®
This is part of the SilverSneakers® Program. It is a low impact shallow water class geared to seniors. You do not have to be in the SilverSneaker® program to attend.
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 8:00 - 9:00am
Hydro Pilates Hydro Pilates is a non-impact exercise incorporating strengthening and stretching movements which require precise breathing and muscle control. Practicing Pilates in the water helps to stabilize the trunk, enhances muscle strength, helps correct posture, and relieves stress! The movements are all initiated from the abdomen, lower back, hip, and buttocks. They then flow outward to the extremities. The philosophy of Pilates-based programs is to train and condition the body from the inside out. Training the muscles to be both movers as well as stabilizers helps to improve posture. This then allows the spine to become more aligned. The exercises can be adapted for anyone.
Saturdays 8:00 - 8:45 am Deep Water Fitness A terrific deep water workout. Participants do not need to be able to swim as a floatation belt is used during the workout. Strengthen, tone and tighten your muscles; improve lung and heart capacities; refine balance and coordination as you perform these exercises. A great stress reliever. This is a medium to high intensity water fitness class conducted completely in the deep end of the pool. Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 - 6:45 pm Saturdays 8:45 - 9:30 am Water Fitness The perfect aerobic workout from beginner to advanced. Even if you have never worked out in the water before. The large movements of the legs and arms provide the aerobic workout to burn fat and strengthen the cardiovascular system. Enjoy an invigorating workout in the waters bouyant - nearly gravity free - exercise environment. This class incorporates deep and shallow water exercises; low impact workouts including kicking and wall exercises, abdominal moves, upper-body resistance training and stretching. No swimming skills required.

Open Water Exercise
Open for members to come and use the pool for individual exercise. An Instructor is avaliable for assistance and guidance.
